Ted Pierson has been designing solutions for everyday problems since graduating from Western Washington University’s Industrial Design Program in 1992. Before starting Spore, Ted gained experience at firms working on a wide variety of projects and approaching design from the purely aesthetic to the technically precise. With Spore, Ted has narrowed his focus to architectural elements and thrives on being involved with the design process from concept to production. A particular guy, he favors Japanese and vine maples and would like to have an old Citroen DS. His tastes also include apple crisp and crackers flavored with ajwain.
