Since 1997, Spore has been getting these details right with simple, beautiful design and quality materials. Our buttons and chimes work perfectly together but can also be used in tandem with other products.
Spore doorbell buttons are available in three styles and a variety of finishes, with or without LED-illumination. Spore RING chimes are available in two sizes and a variety of finishes. Our designs make perfect finishing touches whether you are building a new home or renovating a classic.
TRUE Doorbell Buttons
True bridges the gap between modern and traditional design. An all-metal push button is surrounded by a thin halo of LED-illuminated color, which also reflects against the mounting surface. Designed to fit well with residences built from 1900 on, True comes in several finishes and three illumination colors, as well as a non-illuminated option. Substantial in feel but narrow in diameter, True mounts well to narrow doorjambs and other tight applications.

A modern door chime that evokes classic school and fire bells, our RING 4.25" door chime has a substantial appearance and a clean, familiar ding-ding sound.
Available in chrome, black or white, we have a RING chime that is suited to any architectural style. Chrome has been especially popular in mid-century modern renovations, while the black finish has a following in traditional, craftsman and farm-style residences. The glossy white is harmonious in contemporary designs and wherever minimalism is sought.
This is the smaller of our chimes, suited to modest homes, condos and spaces where sound doesn’t have to carry too far.
Whether you are replacing an old chime or installing a new doorbell system, Ring chimes require a simple hardwired installation. Spore's RING chimes are compatible with many video doorbells, including Nest and Ring systems (see our blog post for details). See BIG RING for our larger model.

Do I Need a Transformer for my Doorbell?
We get a lot of questions about doorbell transformers! Here we will attempt to answer the most common of them.
What is a doorbell transformer?
A transformer converts line-voltage to low-voltage (16 volts). In the United States, line-voltage 120 for most household wiring (this is what is running to your lights and outlets). In Europe and other parts of the world, line-voltage is 240. Any transformer that converts line-voltage to low-voltage will work as a doorbell transformer.
